Tuesday, February 21, 2012	5TH GRADE, 6TH GRADE Elementary Band Concert Student call time:  6:45 p.m. Concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. in MHS Auditorium This will be a great event where our youngest musicians get to "strut their stuff"

7TH GRADE, 8TH GRADE , HS Band - Pre-Festival Concert Student call is 7:00 p.m. Performance Begins at 7:30 p.m. in Auditorium Students will wear their concert uniforms.

Thursday & Friday, February 23 & 25

7TH GRADE, 8TH GRADE, HS BAND - District Band Evaluations Each band will be given a half-day performance time slot within these two days. Thursday performances will be from 1:30 - 7:30 p.m. Friday performances will be from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This will be held at Manistee High School. Groups from a 10 county area will be participating.  This is the "standardized test" for bands & orchestras in Michigan.

Tuesday, March 20, 2012	HS BAND - Manistee & Benzie County Honors Band Day This wonderful event will be held at Benzie Central High School this year.  Students are selected in late January to participate in this day long honors band with a guest conductor.  Evening concert will highlight everything the students have learned during their day.
Saturday, March 24, 2012	HS BANDS - STATE HIGH SCHOOL SOLO & ENSEMBLE EVALUATIONS Manistee High School- All Day Be sure to sign up for your events!  Students receiving a first division rating at the January District Solo & Ensemble Evaluations be eligible to participate in this event.  Students from around the state will be attending. PLEASE NOTE:  This is the first day of your spring break!!

Thursday, April 26 - Saturday, April 28

7TH GRADE, 8TH GRADE, HS BANDS MSBOA STATE BAND & ORCHESTRA EVALUATIONS Those bands and orchestras from around the state of Michigan who receive a first division rating at a district-level evaluations festival are eligible to participate in this most prestigious event.  Manistee will be hosting two days of this event some time during the weekend.  Should our eligible bands (7th, 8th & HS) receive first division ratings at the District Level event in February, we will be scheduled times at the State level event.

5TH, 6TH, 7TH, 8TH, JAZZ BAND, HS BAND - 30th Annual Band-O-Rama Concert This Manistee Band Program End of the Year Gala is not to be missed. Student's Call:  2:00 p.m. Concert Begins:  2:30 p.m. in the MHS Gymnasium.  Students will wear:  Their band uniforms.

 Saturday, May 26th - Graduation - HS Band will perform - this is a required event for all HS Band members.

Monday, May 28, 2012	7TH GRADE, 8TH GRADE , HS Band Memorial Day Parade 9:15 A.M. Call time for Students 10:00 a.m. Parade Starts Parade is through downtown Manistee Students will wear their band uniforms (HS - Full Marching Uniform)
