What's up in the Middle School Bands

SIXTH GRADE BAND - is currently working on Lessons 12 - 14 in their book, and working on getting the foot pat with eighth notes. They are also working on counting rhythms correctly. Ask your student if they can apply the correct counting to any of the songs they are playing, or to show you their latest counting work from class.
SEVENTH GRADE BAND -is currently working on their music for the Halloween Concert (Thursday, October 30 at 7:30, student's call at 7:00 p.m.) and on the Bb, Eb, Ab, and F Concert Scale Series. (Concert Scale, Arpeggio and Chromatic).
EIGHTH GRADE BAND -is currently working on their music for the Halloween Concert (Thursday, October 30 at 7:30, student's call at 7:00 p.m.) and on the d minor scale (that goes with the F Concert Scale Series). They are also working on # 11 & 13 in their Green Book.
